The problem we kept running into

Event registration tools fell into two camps: consumer platforms that took a cut of every ticket and buried you in features you didn't need, or enterprise software that required a sales call and a six-month contract. Neither was a good fit for the kind of events we were running - car shows, community markets, hobbyist meetups with a few hundred people.

The specific pain points: per-attendee fees that ate into tight budgets, no support for approval-based registration, clunky vendor management, and forms that couldn't collect the custom information we actually needed (vehicle specs, category classes, booth sizes).

What we built instead

Loe is a multi-tenant event registration platform. Each organization gets its own workspace. Events live under that workspace with their own registration pages, ticket types, custom fields, and attendee management. Payments go through Stripe Connect directly to your account - we never touch your revenue.

The feature set is intentionally scoped. We built what event organizers actually need: custom fields, waitlists, approval workflows, vendor management, check-in via QR codes, and solid analytics. We didn't build what they don't - no social features, no attendee networking, no badge printing integrations.

Principles

• Flat pricing, no per-attendee fees. Your event's revenue belongs to you. We charge a subscription and Stripe charges its standard processing fee. That's it.
• Organizer-first defaults. Features are designed around the organizer's workflow, not the attendee's consumer journey. You should be able to find what you need without digging through menus.
• No bloat. We'd rather do fewer things well than many things poorly. When a feature request doesn't fit the core use case, we say no.
• Your data is yours. Export your attendee data to CSV at any time. We don't lock you in.
